Pastors spend billions of naira in building structures to accommodate poor people who can barely afford 2 square meals a day.
This is Salvation Ministries’ newly built cathedral, “Hand of God,” to be opened on Friday, November 6th!
It is a 120,000-capacity, five-finger state-of-the-art edifice, built at the cost of N36 billion, and located in Rivers State.
Rivers State has one of Nigeria’s biggest local football clubs, Rivers United. Yet, the state cannot boast of one world-class stadium of at least 50k capacity.
The “Hand of God” cathedral has twice the capacity of all four stadiums in Rivers State combined.
Aside from petroleum, no industry in the entire state can compete with the religious organization in size, capacity, and revenue.
