The illegal attacks on Iran by the United States are reckless beyond belief â and threaten the safety of humankind around the world.
Diplomacy was possible. Instead, a catastrophic war has been ignited by the aggression of two nuclear states, Israel and the United States.
Meanwhile, the genocide in Gaza continues unabated with the shameful military support of our own government.
The last Labour government made the mistake of following the US into a devastating war. Human beings abroad paid the price.
This Labour government needs to learn the lessons of the past, otherwise it will be remembered for the more dangerous world it has helped to create.
I echo the call made by the UN Secretary-General: âThere is no military solution. The only path forward is diplomacy. The only hope is peace.â

At no point as an F1 did I think I should be doing Reg shifts

The NHS is genuinely an awful employer.
Itâs been a little over a year since I left and joined a GP practice and itâs been wonderful.
I look back at my time as a resident doctor, and particularly my time as co-chair of the BMA, and remember continuously reflecting on how bad things were.
Your concerns are legitimate.
The old guard doctors are often out of touch.
The media donât have a clue.
The public can not comprehend.
The NHS says a lot of utter nonsense and take no action - they either donât understand or donât care.
THINGS ARE AWFUL FOR RESIDENT DOCTORS.
The lack of agency.
The lack of autonomy.
The disrespect.
The insane and illogical hoops youâre asked to jump through.
Everything you hate is legitimate.
Strike.
Youâre justified in doing so.

Doctors received offers for Radiology training posts at around 3-4pm. They were able to accept these offers on Oriel and received confirmation of acceptance. Offers then began to disappear on Oriel. At 6:30pm they received this email.
