Some personal news: I'm now State Editor at @CityAndStateNY.
ALT We also have promoted Peter Sterne to State Editor. Peter came to us from New York Focus almost three years ago and has served as both a writer and editor of our op-ed submissions. Peter during this time also broke the story on Assembly Member Zohran Mamdani's mayoral run in New York City. This promotion comes after he already was working with our state reporters this past year. He will continue working on op-eds and writing, while overseeing the state team's daily coverage. This includes assigning stories, editing and enforcing deadlines.
