🚨🦌 Deer Alert for Drivers 🚔🦌
November is peak season for deer on Kansas roads, so it's important to stay alert!
Quick Tips:
👀 Watch out during dawn and dusk when deer are most active.
🦌 If you see one deer, expect more—they rarely travel alone.
🌳 Slow down near wooded areas, green spaces, and water sources.
Stay safe out there and share this info with fellow drivers!

We enjoy showing our community members behind-the-scenes of the day-to-day work of the Shawnee Police Department. Showcasing how we work and what tools and equipment we use can provide a better understanding of what it takes for police officers to meet our community’s needs.
We thank the Rotary Club of Shawnee for stopping by to tour our police department and receive a K9 demonstration from Officer Moure and K9 Draco, as well as Officer Skinner and K9 Dagger.
