Prime Minister @R_Nabbanja Meets His Majesty King Charles III of UK, delivers Uganda’s commitments in Environmental conservation
What do you think Amooti thinks ? Paddy Bitama went to him, Mmese Bbontwe went to him, Kadoma went to him and now Kapere has gone to him!
#KingSaha’s promise to finish #Kapere’s house deserves applause. 👏🏽🏠
But using a grieving family’s moment to chase political relevance as Saleh’s son in law ? Embarrassing. A funeral should never become a campaign audition.
Let the family inherit a completed home, not political slogans. We’ll applaud the keys as loudly as the promise.
We hope that when the cameras are off, the support for the young widow and the children Kapere left behind continues. They deserve a completed home, not a forgotten promise. 💔
Bambi mama Trump omusaja amubadeko yeka 🙌🥹 teli namwandu mulala. Rip #Kapere thank you for loving your wife
PLU Secretary Twala Fadil accompanied by Publicity Officer Basaliza Henry Mutegeki today visited the Almighty God Ruhanga Bisaka in Kapyemi Sub-County in Kagadi district By Mariam Nakalema
Former Deputy Chief of Defence Forces Peter Elwelu has reportedly been arrested by security forces in Soroti City following a manhunt over alleged subversive activities in the Teso sub-region.
Security forces reportedly recovered 15 firearms, military fatigues and two pickup trucks linked to him. He is expected to face prosecution over the allegations.

💔😳 #Kapere reportedly pleaded for financial assistance from #NUP leaders in these screenshots while he was alive. Today, his death is attracting political attention!
The circulating WhatsApp screenshots appear to show a desperate man asking for just UGX 100,000.
Now the same political circles are publicly mourning him, celebrating his loyalty and speaking about friendship. 🙄
But where was this energy when Kapere needed help?
Was assistance eventually provided? If so, let the facts speak.
And if Kapere was such a valued friend, why shouldn't his widow and children now receive meaningful, long-term support?
A man should not have to die before his struggles become important to the people who celebrated his loyalty.
Funeral speeches cannot pay rent. Political tributes cannot educate or feed orphaned children.
Was Kapere genuinely valued during his lifetime, or has his death simply become another political moment? 🎯
I ask the hospital to treat Kapere's body for two weeks so that we can get a venue for King Saha to give him the concert he promised him. If we bury him before the concert it may not get people. - Full stop Kapere's friend.
Today the Deputy Director of Mobilisation Owek Basaliza Henry @HenryBasaliza1, the Woman MP for Kiryandongo/Cordinator Bunyoro sub region Hon Jovia Katusiime @hon_jovia, our Coordinator for Kagadi Dr. James Byarugaba @jabyarugaba, Patriotic officers, members of the PLU Secretariat and other leaders have arrived at Kapyemi Faith of Unity Headquarters to meet with Owobusobozi Bisaka.

#BobiWine calls the late #Kapere his special friend. Well, here is an opportunity to demonstrate what that friendship meant beyond cameras, condolences and emotional speeches! 🙄
Build Kapere’s widow and children a decent home and pay their school fees right through university.
Kapere reportedly struggled with rent, school fees and financial pressures while he was alive. 🥹
Friendship shouldn't become more valuable in funeral speeches than it was during someone's lifetime.
The cameras will eventually disappear, but Kapere’s children will still need a roof over their heads, food on the table and an education.
Forget the political theatre. Let the children benefit from that celebrated friendship! 🎯
The body of comedian Mbuuse Yokaana, popularly known as #Kapere, will today be taken to #NUP headquarters in Makerere Kavule, where party members will mourn him and pay their last respects.
Kapere was a NUP member who had hoped to contest for a councillor position in Makindye Division on the party’s ticket in the recent elections.
😂🇺🇬🇧🇫 BOBIWINE VS IBRAHIMTRAORÉ!
Is this political advice or jealousy dressed up as democracy? 👀
#BobiWine is busy lecturing #IbrahimTraore about elections, yet his own presidential campaigns have ended in defeat according to Uganda's official results.
And here's the irony: Burkina Faso has experienced elections before, but they did not prevent political instability.
So what exactly is Bobi Wine offering Traoré a lesson from his own electoral defeats or a serious solution to Burkina Faso's challenges? 🤣🔥
Does holding elections automatically guarantee democracy and stability? 🤔
