I will repeat this forever. Make yourself an email folder called "Praise." Save ALL the emails people send you complimenting your work, big and small. On the days when it's just really hard and you feel like nothing is going right - that folder will bring you joy!

Once again we see institutional racism at a major charity, this time @Girlguiding. Time and time again overwhelmingly white orgs are found doing harm to POC staff and service users. We must transform the charity sector as a whole. Solidarity to all POC staff there.

In all seriousness. Watch Crip Camp on Netflix if you haven’t The Disability Rights Movement is history that is often times ignored yet changed the lives of millions. But keep in mind the issues discussed in the film are *still* very real for Disabled ppl today! 👩‍🦼👩‍🦯🧑‍🦽🚶‍♂️👩‍🦽

The government ending shielding this month puts many high risk people in a tough position. 75% of disabled people plan to continue shielding until *after* their second vaccine dose, according to @scope. Yet they now won’t have access to state support e.g. food deliveries.
