Fantastic feedback from our first #WestYorkshire 'Train The Trainer' course, delivered by the Yorkshire #Endoscopy Training Academy.
The course equips qualified endoscopy practitioners with the skills and knowledge to teach endoscopy trainees.

📢Junior doctors across the NHS will go on strike from 11-15 April.
We're working hard to minimise disruption but local #NHS services could be impacted significantly.
⚠️Please only come to A&E if it's a life or limb-threatening emergency.

Today is #WorldCancerDay - raising awareness of cancer and encouraging its prevention, detection and treatment.
Its primary goal is to reduce illness and death caused by cancer.
This is so important to us and the wider @WYpartnership that we'll be making it a week-long event.

Our @Airedale_ED and @aedbthft emergency departments are exceptionally busy. Please use the advice below 👇 @ActAsOneBDC
West Yorkshire people and communities are reminded to choose wisely when needing NHS services.
We currently have high numbers of people coming to A&E with flu-like symptoms. Here's how you can help 👇

ALT We are seeing a lot of people attend A&E with flu symptoms. Flu can make you feel very poorly. There are some things you can do to treat the symptoms. Rest, sleep and keep warm. Take paracetamol or ibuprofen to lower a temperature and treat aches, drink plenty of water. If you think you need medical advice please use NHS 111 online first (www.111.nhs.uk)

Emergency departments across the area are seeing exceptional demand.
Please only come to A&E if it's an emergency. We need to care for our sickest patients.

This obsession with ‘working hard’ and ‘hard working families’ is depressingly Victorian. We live in an age of machines that can do all that stuff for us. People should be having more diverse and more fulfilled lives, not grinding away until they die.
