tldr; i'm looking for what's next
took the summer off to do nothing. by nothing i mean two speaking gigs, a rebrand, and going deep on what ai can actually do for marketing. but other than that, nothing
two years of back-to-back contract work will do that..
anyway - i'm back and looking for what's next. contract or full-time with a startup doing something interesting
what that's looked like:
$27 blended cac
$200k+ committed capital from zero
3,700+ net-new users onboarded in 6 weeks during slow market
launching pre-seed/series a, scaling series b. b2b and b2c. crypto, ai, cloud
site + case studies below, dms open!
know someone hiring, full-time or fractional? send them my way
i once worked for a founder with that kind of intense stare. when she looked at you it felt like you were the most important person in the room, and the thought of disappointing her was unbearable.
all the people competed for scraps of her praise.
luckily for us she was a lovely person, which is the only reason that dynamic stayed healthy. but it taught me how much of a company runs on one person's face
my current tech wellness stack:
- fitbit + the google health app for the data (sleep, activity, hrv), with the ai health coach on top (pretty basic tbh)
- nutracheck for calories & macros (currently doing a recomp)
- claude / chatgpt for workout and meal planning
the annoying part is that it all lives in separate apps and i'm the integration layer, so i'm trying to build an agent that collects it, analyses it and feeds it back to me in a TG chat
has anyone vibe coded something like this? and any other apps/gadgets you can't live without?
actually been thinking about a similar thing today, although in the context of services- but it applies to any job really
the thing that gets me isn't people taking time off. it's how fast the reciprocity disappears
we ask people to give 1000%, and yes, if you want to build something great you need that. but when it goes the other way round, business rarely matches the energy. 'oh sorry, you were great but times are tough so we need to let you go'
so you pick yourself up once, twice, three times. by number 4 you've got trust issues and the spark is gone. i've seen it killed in so many people, especially in startups (especially in crypto but in tech in general)
so how much can you really blame people for taking the time off
I'm torn internally when people take time off. Is this normal?
On the one hand, I want people to relax, enjoy time with their families and take a break. I genuinely want it.
On the other hand, it pains me so much when I know we could move faster. I don't understand how you can take time off knowing that a competitor is not.
In the end, I much prefer the latter rather than the former. I just struggle to admit it.
one of the cringiest things that happened to me at work: me and my work bestie were on a zoom with a colleague who was being unhelpful & condescending. i was sharing my screen.
my friend was starting to get pissed off and to not escalate, left, mumbling smth about a bad connection...
...then followed it up with a text: 'just couldn't stand this pointless conversation anymore' ... while i was still sharing my screen.
anyway. now i always remember to turn on dnd.

We asked a simple question last night.
What could possibly go wrong when agents start spending money?
Turns out, quite a lot. And that's exactly what made it such a good conversation.
From agent wallets and machine-to-machine payments to the legal grey areas nobody has figured out yet, last night's discussion on the agent economy was one of the most honest and thought-provoking evenings we've had at CryptoMondays London.
The technology is moving fast. The frameworks are catching up. And the people in that room last night are the ones building both.
A huge thank you to our speakers: @Emma_Mkr, @TiffanyWang98, Katie Evans, @Jord_Crypto for bringing so much depth and honesty to the conversation.
Thank you to our sponsors: @vault12, @UpholdInc, @babs_agency, @reedsmithllp for making an evening like this possible.
Thank you to the CryptoMondays London team for yet another incredible event.
And a very special thank you to our photographer S.Munib Rahman for capturing the night so beautifully.
See you next time. Proof of Community. 🖤
