Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne, it’s rained but it’s sunny now, 9 degrees but not chilly. Time for some R&R #annual leave

Feliz Dia de los Reyes Magos 6 Enero #threekingsday #epithany for all who celebrate – at Eastbourne, England
A very scary commute home Woolwich to Eastbourne 63 miles which took 3 hours. Blocked drains, flooding ++, drivers acting like the roads are an F1 track!. I’ve never felt more grateful to land on my drive, having previously had a nasty car accident in 2012 in similar conditions – at Pevensey Bay, England
I’m going to take a bit of a break from X for the festive period. It feels like the right time to have a bit of a reset, chill out & avoid the ‘almost constant’ negativity about working in the NHS. Wishing you all a lovely Christmas & I’ll be back in 2024! – at Pevensey Bay, England
Race across the world …… who would I take as my partner? I would say my Dad because he’s ‘better than good’ at everything but my Mum, who is my fiercest critic has an unrivalled determination & is a ‘completer finisher’. I’d still take my Dad to save my sanity & ensure it’s fun – at Westham, England
Watched GBBO, simply joyous !. Decided to watch Celebrity SOS as an old friend is a contestant ….. brave or mad to participate? I can’t actually decide. Is this really acceptable prime time TV viewing ? – at Eastbourne, England

Eastbourne is a lovely seaside town in E Sussex & this weekend it’s our annual airshow ‘Airbourne’; a great mix of aircraft flying, culminating each afternoon with the Red Arrows. Come & visit our lovely town, we have a pier, @TownerGallery & great restaurants @VisitEastbourne
Eastbourne known as the ‘Sunshine Coast’ is 1.5 hours via train from London Victoria travelling through beautiful countryside & the seafront is a 10 minute walk from the station. If you like Brighton, you will love Eastbourne more. Come & visit our beautiful seaside town 😎
Eastbourne is known as the ‘Sunshine Coast’ but this is not standard ‘August’ weather, heavy rain & wild wind all night = zero sleep, I am so 🥱 – at Eastbourne, England
Welcome to ‘Costa del Eastbourne’ the ‘Sunshine Coast’. This is not your average July weather …….. rain, wind, only 17 degrees. The sea, 20 paces from my house is wild – at Eastbourne, England
Awful commute from E Sussex today. 2.5 hours this morning to Woolwich due to biblical rain & flooded roads. Tonight narrowly avoided a nasty head on collision by ditching into the verge, avoiding a driver on my side of the road. Rather shook up, but car & I are still in one piece
Great to see @philhornbyitv on The Last Word tonight, interesting guests & discussion on the evidence supporting the ULEZ extension, the impact on health & climate emergency versus the impact of the current cost of living crisis – at South East, England
Great feature on @BBCBreakfast on volunteers in the NHS highlighting their contribution & value. The sunshine yellow t shirts are a great idea too #NHS75
Four years ago today I had a right total hip replacement for a congenital hip problem & arthritis, aged 50. My surgery was totally transformational, a diagnosis that was nearly career ending for a nurse, fixed thanks to my fabulous Orthopaedic Consultant Simon Hoskinson @ESHTNHS
