Many improvements to cross-border payments require institutions to overhaul the infrastructure they've spent decades building.

I used to be an Ethereum dev in 2016.
I was the original cofounder and CTO for Cent - platform that later sold the Jack Dorsey tweet NFT for $2m. One of the first NFT projects on mainnet.
Let me be clear - I never believed everything would live on “one chain.” Makes 0 sense. As soon as I discovered Cosmos is 2022 (Terra was bigger than Solana), it was clear that there will be many chains, not one, and that they’ll interoperate. I left Ethereum and went to Cosmos, and built a successful company (Skip.build)
Fast forward to today - Vitalik and the EF is abandoning years of cumulative effort of thousands of developers who wanted to “build on Ethereum.” This is the risk of basing your business model on someone else’s token. You will always be second class.
The world needs an open blockchain stack that is open source, and able to be run without “alignment” games and token dependency. This is what Cosmos is. We have the best technology, that lets chains be interoperable with all other blockchains via an open bridging protocol. Everything Ethereum promised, we’ve built.

We've successfully delivered on three key items promised two months ago, plus more.
A) Chain Refactor with SDK 5.3 upgrade: A relentless effort to refactor the entire codebase with a massive upgrade to Cosmos SDK v0.53.
B) AkashML.com: a fully managed inference service on the Akash Network, making it super easy for AI developers to use Akash with very little effort. This is already showing increased demand and revenue for Akash.
C) WASM Smart Contracts: Smart contracts allow key updates to the Akash blockchain without needing chain upgrades, allowing us to move much faster.
In Progress:
D) Burn Mint Equilibrium (BME): The essential infrastructure elements required for BME are complete and are now available in the Sandbox with code open to the public. The estimated time for code completion is under two weeks.

The U.S. Clarity Act has passed the House of Representatives. CCN has published an analysis listing the Cosmos Hub as a mature blockchain ecosystem under the Clarity Act in its current form, comparable to blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
