Encounters Film Festival (@EncountersSFF) to Host 25 Years of Adult Swim Retrospective Showcase in Bristol, England, UK:
The Encounters Film Festival will host a special retrospective screening titled "25 Years of Adult Swim: A Showcase" to celebrate a quarter-century of the pioneering late-night animation brand.
The event takes place on Thursday, 24 September 2026 at 21:00 in Cinema 3 as part of the festival's special events programme.
Supported directly by Adult Swim (@AdultSwimUK), the 80-to-90-minute screening looks back at the network's legacy of boundary-pushing comedy since its launch in 2001. The programme features a curated mix of fan-favourite episodes and archive highlights, alongside a brand-new special crossover episode of the stop-motion series Robot Chicken.
The screening carries an 18+ certificate and is eligible for the festival's Audience Award. Tickets and festival passes are available via the Encounters Film Festival website, with the full festival running in Bristol from 23 to 27 September 2026.
