@FromPaperchase why are you still using single use plastic on your tubes of wrapping paper? You’re WAY behind the times! Guaranteed I won’t be buying from you, but will buy instead from @LoveWilko, @sainsburys and others.

It’s incredibly difficult being a climate scientist in this society, at an emotional level. We can see the future, it is terrifying, and we are being ignored

The Tories whip up fear and hate even as desperate people drown in the Channel. So let's say it again: The enemy of the working class travels by private jet, not migrant dinghy.

Since loads of outrage merchants are back on twitter, time for my regular PSA. Their business model depends on saying *anything* that generates clicks. Don’t QT. Don’t comment. Starve them of the oxygen of attention and they whither and die. Any interaction feeds them.

How lucky for Braverman's parents, from Kenya and Mauritius, that there were safe routes for economic migrants when they came to the UK in the 60's, eh ?

I love these too. I’ve been showing them to my y11s and they’ve been really useful. Thanks 😊
A man worth £760m telling nurses forced to use food banks they need take a pay cut in the national interest. Almost beyond belief.

I’ve had to mute the word Markle. It seems to be a certain ‘type’ of person who is so outraged about her. It’s so boring now.

Just the matter of a small £2bn payment…

This is about the amount that would sort the nurses’ pay deal. Don’t believe the Tories when they say there isn’t enough money. What they mean is there isn’t the money for YOU! There is always enough money for their mates.
Exclusive: A couple whose firm won £2bn in PPE deals — biggest of the pandemic — have off-shored their wealth. They won't disclose profits or tax on their Covid-19 windfall Sarah/Richard Stoute bought £6m mansion, £30m Carribean villa, took firm to Jersey thetimes.co.uk/article/the-p…

Amoxicillin is a generic antibiotic that can treat Strep A, which has killed 16 kids. Big pharma has jacked the price up from 80p to £18, blaming 'complicated supply chains'.

I am so concerned about the use of plastic grass that if anyone on here is considering using it I will give you alternative advice ( free )as to how to landscape without it. If I can stop one square meter being layed it's worth the effort.

Has anyone been to Antwerp and can recommend places to stay?

Has anybody at all heard of this happening? Not only does it not happen at my school, I have never heard of this happening anywhere else or from anyone else. Total rubbish.
