The CFPS volunteers have been busy at the ELR today working on D345 getting the loco ready for next Saturday & the Pathfinder charter on the 19th October. CFA loco 40 012 was also run up today.

A major milestone was achieved over the weekend with the ongoing repairs to get 40 135 back in good health. The power unit has been removed ready for the next stage of having the crankshaft swapped. Thanks to the CFPS volunteers and the ELR for all the hard work.

40 145 arrived at Hellifield and my shift done. 1Z79 now on route to Leeds and onto Newcastle. Back Pass now to Carnforth. Thanks to at WCRC as always for all the help and support they give to the CFPS

It was a privilege to cross it on 40 145 yesterday. The view from the window was quite spectacular!
