Before buying another AI tool, check one thing: does the software you already pay for work with ChatGPT or Claude?
I built a free directory that answers it:
workswithai.pages.dev

What broke: Search Console still can't fetch the sitemap. The site works. Google hasn't caught up.
A developer tested 9 free EU invoice tools on one ordinary invoice: a French business billing another French business.
The 3 that advertised automatic VAT detection all got it wrong.
Invoicing is a workflow. Here's how to add AI to it without trusting it blind.
7. Measure after 60 days.
Same three numbers as your baseline.
If corrections went up, the tool is creating work, not saving it. Fix the process before adding more automation.
When did you last check the tax line on an invoice your software filled in for you?
Pull 3 recent ones and check them this week.

Most small businesses don't need more AI tools. They need the right one for one task.
Before you pay, write down the task, what good output looks like, and what it costs you now.
Judge tools against that, not the demo.
A directory I keep for this: workswithai.pages.dev
Most AI mistakes in a small business aren't wrong answers. They're unchecked ones.
If AI drafts your customer replies, decide what it never sends alone: refunds, complaints, pricing.
Those go to a person first. The rest can flow.
Write that rule down before launch.
NQ and ES ran through last week's highs on Wednesday.
By Friday, all three indexes had closed below last week's lows.
