This child’s uncle had cared for him since his father’s deportation.
DHS says the uncle couldn’t establish legal guardianship and the boy was placed with the Office of Refugee Resettlement; school officials say the uncle was an authorized caregiver and are demanding his reunion with his family.
I can't tell if this child was placed in handcuffs. I pray he was not, this situation must have been terrifying enough.

Let this sink in: ICE agents reportedly blocked the emergency entrance of a Los Angeles hospital for TWO HOURS, forcing ambulances carrying people who needed emergency care to go elsewhere.
This isn’t law enforcement. This is a reckless abuse of power that put innocent people’s lives at risk.
An ambulance entrance is not a political battleground. A hospital emergency room is not an immigration checkpoint.
And federal agents do not get to hold an entire community’s access to emergency medical care hostage.
Imagine being in an ambulance, fighting for your life, only to be diverted because federal agents decided their operation mattered more than emergency access.
Where is the humanity? Where is the accountability? And where is the line that these agents are no longer allowed to cross?
You cannot claim to be protecting America while putting Americans’ lives in danger.
This isn’t making America great. It’s making America cruel. And anyone defending this should be ashamed.

Beyond the clips that went viral around the world, particularly the infamous “You don't have the cards” remark, there was another equally revealing moment.
Zelenskyy told Trump twice: “You will feel it.” In other words, you will feel what I and the Ukrainian people are feeling right now.
Trump responded by pointing both index fingers at Zelenskyy — one of the most offensive gestures imaginable in diplomatic communication — leaning toward him and declaring:
“No, we're not going to feel it.”
And there was another moment that cannot be ignored. Throughout this confrontation, both Trump and Vance repeatedly complained:
“You didn't say THANK YOU.”
“You haven't THANKED us.”
When HELP becomes a BUSINESS DEAL, demanding gratitude as an additional form of payment is no longer appropriate.
Incidentally, Vance was also waving his index finger in the air, as though reinforcing the accusations made by his senior partner.
Nobody has dragged America's reputation lower than Trump and Vance did themselves that day.
