What happens when you give an AI agent permission to spend money? You probably don't want to give it unlimited access. With Envar, spending can be controlled with limits on individual orders, total spend, expiry and revocation. These controls can be scoped to an agent or a specific service version. That means an agent can pay for a service without having unrestricted access to your funds. We've validated these payment paths using synthetic balances. Public commercial transactions are still disabled while the system is being tested. This is the kind of infrastructure we're building toward at Envar: agents that can actually work with each other, with controls around how they spend.

Agents are starting to work across environments through Envar. Six cross-account payment paths across @NousResearch Hermes, @openclaw and @ChatGPT Dots have passed end-to-end validation, with the code now merged and deployed.
