Accurate acquisition and interpretation of intermittent photic stimulation (IPS) responses are essential for recognition and interpretation of photoparoxysmal responses (PPRs) and also for electroclinical characterization of epilepsy syndromes associated with visual sensitivity. This multimedia teaching material illustrates physiological responses during IPS, including photic driving response (PDR) and photomyogenic response (PMR), together with electrographic patterns of PPR in accordance with contemporary classification principles and reporting standards. doi.org/10.1002/epd2.70433
