We want to address our community on the latest developments with exchanges. Realistically, we did everything right: - Building with focus, a product that'll be in demand - Maintaining active socials - Have a strong market making partner (depth even now is great) So we can only assume Binance sees Epic as a competitor to its now own backed product, Travala. As a result, competition is being limited. EPIC Travel is a game changer in how crypto, especially stablecoins, can be spent on daily needs. Travala currently charges massive fees and is recently owned by Binance and its BSC/BNB ecosystem. Epic disrupts this. Rather than welcoming industry growth for a startup model like ours, with more than enough room for all participants, the powerful exchange limits growth. This is a sign that what we are building is powerful, it has hit the concerns of the industry's biggest exchange. -- To our community, reality is we are delivering above and beyond the vast portion of projects exchanges support. - Constant updates on product - Active presence at industry events for partnerships - Forward-facing team building towards useful solutions This will not change. A new lawsuit alleges Expedia charges hotels around 15% - 30% on every booking, and stopped them from offering lower prices anywhere else, even on their own websites. Travel shouldn’t cost more because middlemen control the market. We’re building Epic around the opposite belief: cheaper travel so that more people get to do it.
