The New York Rangers organization mourns the loss of Ron Duguay, one of the most popular players in franchise history. Ron's signature skating style - with his hair flowing as he moved down the ice - captivated The Garden Faithful, and his skill, tenacity, and charisma earned him the admiration of all New Yorkers. We join the hockey community in sending our condolences to Ron's friends, family, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Thankful everyone is okay but Functional gave a scare in R2 at Keeneland.
He successfully jumped the temporary railing only to get back in the flow of the race to finish fifth. Great job by Bejarano to stay on.

It’s with a shattered heart, but also deep peace knowing Ron is with Jesus now. He fought so hard. Love never ends❤️

PIX11 quickly deleted an article where they said that Victor Romero who is accused of murdering the ConEd worker, was a retired NYPD Detective. I have to wonder if this is the same Victor Romero from this incident in 2000. The age checks out

The deadly shooting of a driver along the George Washington Bridge appeared to stem from a burst of road rage.
Koran Irvine, 46, took a bullet to the right shoulder around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday on the New Jersey-bound upper level of the crossing.
Irvine – who worked for Con Edison and lived in Valley Cottage, Rockland County – was driving on the span when he appeared to slightly swerve toward the suspect’s car, law enforcement sources said.
Video reviewed by investigators then shows the other driver’s car – apparently a dark colored sedan – veering back into the middle lane as both motorists entered the upper level.
The other driver then pulled up on the rear passenger side of Irvine’s car, sparking his ride to suddenly jerk – likely the moment the shooting happened.
Irvine’s ride then rolled into the median and came to a stop, before the suspect drove off.
Irvine was rushed to Englewood Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators preliminarily believe a single shot was fired – piercing the back window and grazing a head rest before entering the victim’s right shoulder and exiting the left side of his neck.
