There have also been significant gains for stage management, plus big increases to swing and cover fees which are due to rise by up to 43%; a 21% increase to the relocation allowance; and a commitment to progress trials of the 5-day rehearsal week.

Equity members in the West End have won an inflation busting increase to minimum rates, which are set to rise by at least 16.7% over the next 24 months.

ALT - EQUITY - WINS IN THE WEST END: PAY An inflation busting 9% increase to minimum rates in year 1, paid from April 2023, with a guaranteed minimum 16.7% increase over 24 months for the lowest paid. REST: Equity General Secretary Paul William Fleming, alongside SOLT Chief Executives and our members, leading a working group to progress trials of the 5-day rehearsal working week.
ALT SWINGS AND UNDERSTUDIES: 33% increase to the Swing fee, 33% increase to supporting role cover fees and a 43% increase to the principal role cover fee. STAGE MGMT: A brand new guaranteed weekly responsibility fee, paid from the point you're asked to take on the track/s of a more senior team member. EQUITY

We did a five day rehearsal week, the production was nominated for 5 @OlivierAwards & it won Best New Comedy.
