Decided to try Threads yesterday. Went through the onboarding process and followed a bunch of my IG friends. So far, so good. This morning, I opened the app and found it overflowing with (promoted?) celebrity and commercial accounts. Really? Already? I was hoping for better. 😕

Honestly, the recent swelling of promoted Tweets here was a big reason I gave it a shot, hoping to have a feed of just what I chose to see. But, of course, Zuckerberg is just as greedy as Musk; no matter how much money they have, they can't turn down an opportunity for more.
