This year has been fucking awful for the sheer loss of icons. A lot of actors are lucky enough to have one iconic character to their name. Patrick Stewart got two, decades on the stage, and everything in between. RIP, you absolute legend.
BREAKING: Patrick Stewart, the beloved actor best known for his iconic roles as Jean-Luc Picard in โ€˜Star Trekโ€™ and Professor X in โ€˜X-Menโ€™, dies at 86. nbcnews.to/4swhqWR

Nah. It's a sign that the Republicans fucked the country. Again. Virtually every time that conservatives are entrusted with power, something goes horrifically wrong, and the Democrats have to clean up the fucking mess.
I think Gen Z going back to the Dems is evidence that men are becoming more like women and can't do hard things.

I don't know why this post is making the rounds again, but it is ABSOLUTELY an insult. "Hey, you know that time in your life as a man where you struggled with validation issues in a way that most women never will? Yeah, I wouldn't have picked you either."
In no scenario whatsoever is this a compliment.

That makes sense when you consider that the American Right literally does not believe in the foundational principles of the nation.
This is quite literally un-American.

What plastic surgeon told Jennifer Lawrence to do this to herself? She looked fine before! Hot, even!

Hey, hey, hey! @realDonaldTrump is just miming men who make tons of money and like it rough in the ass down in Soho!

I think that @mattyglesias has a point here, but he's missing out on what came after. 1960s America wanted "moderate enforcement" of civil rights, but LBJ went aggressive because the South was full of shit. That plus racist incidents in the North let Nixon squeak by in 1968.
โ€œThe Matthew Yglesias of 1963 would have been telling [JFK and LBJ] donโ€™t touch this civil rights bill. Itโ€™s unpopular.โ€ I thought this was one of the more fascinating and important exchanges with @mattyglesias, where I challenged him on how far politicians should defer to polls on huge moral issues, and he pushed back on my analogy. Mehdi conflates bill approval with protest approval. "This civil rights bill" was popular in '63. It had +16 approval (54-38) by Aug. '63 & +30 (61-31) in Jan. '64 before its June passage. Desegregation was generally popular w/ >+30 support for SCOTUS anti-segregation rulings news.gallup.com/poll/3427/mostโ€ฆ

Your optimism in the face of an oncoming apocalypse is rather funny.
My prediction: R's get 53 Senate seats. If it's a bad night, we get 52. If it's a really good night, we get 54.

It's important to remember that social media didn't really exist during the prequel era. Most of the immediate reaction came from movie critics who didn't really know what George Lucas was going for.
Natalie Portman says STAR WARS: THE PHANTOM MENACE was one of her earliest lessons in failure. โ€œI had lucky early experiences of failureโ€ฆI made Star Wars. I was 16, and that got murdered. It was a huge success financially, but all of it was, โ€˜They ruined the franchise. None of them can act. They all suckโ€ฆโ€™ I think it was an amazing early lesson in how to read really bad things about yourself and then be able to be like, โ€˜Iโ€™m going to make another one. Iโ€™m going to show them. I donโ€™t remember talking to anyone about it. I didnโ€™t want to show anyone that I was hurt or anything.โ€ (Source: harpersbazaar.com/culture/fiโ€ฆ)

I think you forgot to log into your alt, you turbo moron.
Lifelong moderate liberal here. With Democrats nominating radicals like Abdul El-Sayed, and Democratic Party leaders cheering him on, I think this is the year where it makes sense for all common-sense, moderate, reasonable Democrats like myself to vote straight ticket GOP

...because the Scandinavians like massive welfare states, and we don't have one?
Trump: Why do we always take people from shithouse countries? Why can't we take people from Norway or Sweden?

Why do I have to explain obvious metaphors to morons? THE WHITE HOUSE SHOULD NOT LOOK LIKE A CHEESECAKE FACTORY. It's our house, not some shitbag dictator's palace.

You'd have to ask her that, but it calls for another question: How do many of those traits attract men anyway? If the man has to plan and execute all of the time, she can't exactly display her interests, status, or money anyway. Only something reciprocal can do that.
Serious question for the menโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘€ If a woman is 35โ€“39, BEAUTIFUL, fit, financially independent, successful in her career, emotionally mature, and genuinely looking for a serious relationshipโ€ฆ Why do you think sheโ€™s still single? Is it because her standards are too high? Has she simply not met the right man? Is modern dating really that difficult? Or is there something men notice that women often overlook? No judgment. No sugarcoating. Just honest answers. Men, I genuinely want to hear your perspective. What do you think is the real reason?

It's important to point out that Democrats cannot and should not reach voters like this. If you believe that the world is six to ten thousand years old, you're a fucking idiot who wants to destroy the United States.
Jason Selvig: โ€œIn schools how old should we teach that the Earth is?โ€ Trump supporter: โ€œIโ€™d say somewhere bout 10,000 years old, just like the Bible says. Really if you wanna go by Adam and Eve, 6,000 years old. Did you know they found DNA in dinosaurs thatโ€™s suposed to be 65M years old, you think itโ€™d still be around? Noโ€ JS: โ€œWhen do you think dinosaurs went extinct?โ€ TS: โ€œDuring the flood. Noahโ€™s flood. Thatโ€™s 4,500 years agoโ€

Arguably Grant. Washington and Eisenhower were far better at being the most trusted strategist than they were at tactics. Long Island and North Africa are prime examples of what I mean.

There are two obvious loopholes. 1. The unlimited pardon power mixed with paramilitary groups. 2. Gerrymandering deeply partisan states by literally breaking them apart to permanently control Congress. It would spark a civil war, but that's rather obvious.
When will someone use an agent swarm to discover this
