In 2021, Fred Warner, then an All-Pro and the NFL's highest-paid linebacker, felt like a $95 million fraud. At rock botton mentally, he reached out to @goldmedalmind, whom he now credits for saving what figures to be a Hall of Fame career. sfchronicle.com/sports/49ers… #49ers

The #49ers' defeat Sunday made it clear the NFL’s next-man-up mantra doesn’t apply when the next guys in line are options 6, 7, 8 and 9. “Is the game plan different? Sure. It’s incredibly different." sfchronicle.com/sports/49ers…

49ers throw away perfect record as Falcons feast on mistakes, 23 straight points in 29-20 win

Seemingly everything went wrong for the San Francisco 49ers in an error-filled 29-20 loss to the Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. S.F. enters its bye week 6-1.
