I think this being called racist is sad. Instead of making African people and cultures whiter to appeal to a western audience they based the tribe's design from African art and the real Nguni fighting style. Samurai Jack says Africans are unique and cool.

What people don't get is that references aren't for copying. Nobody looks at an arm and draws the contour 1:1 unless thats your intended exercise. You got to interpret the reference, extract the information you can, break it down, find ways to remember information, mnemonics.
