Nearly 25 years after I camped outside a theater to see #TheEndofEvangelion at Otakon 1998, I got to see #Evangelion end once more in a cinema.
It was wonderful, thrilling, and more than a little emotional.

Was watching ABUNAI DEKA FOREVER THE MOVIE and noticed a guy who looked like Anno appearing as a sneaky yakuza guy for a few seconds. Turns out it was actually him!

Hideaki Anno's Cutie Honey was released on this day (05/29) in 2004. It's a live action anime adaptation in the truest sense. Bright, colorful, and without abandoning ANY of the stylistic conventions of 2D animation. It's just a lot of fun to watch.

While I'm talking about #Evangelion -- I hate that Rebirth seems to be being erased from Evangelion history, even if I kinda, sorta, get it. Regardless, it was an epic tease and cliffhanger, and Tanashii No Refrain deserves to be heard.
