Portland made a killing in transition against the Kings. Couple ways they did this:
- High outlets on made baskets (goal is to inbound it above FT line extended)
- Guards peeking ahead before catching the outlet (getting early reads on defense + floor balance)
- Repeated unselfish passes up the floor (kick ahead and kick across)
- Most impressively, ELITE runs by their 5s (especially Robert Williams III)

In the summer Payton Pritchard pays for division 2/3 basketball players to travel to Cape Cod to defend him 1-on-1 in a high school gym with no air conditioning where it reaches up to 120 degrees inside, per @espn
If he shoots under 60% for a day they all “eat like kings” at Chipotle on Pritchard
When asked a why he’s a menace with his workouts
“I can’t wake up and be Wemby”
