My dad had a dream to be a musical legend in our country. At a young age he achieved that with one of the songs he worked on being played on the radio for over a decade. I hated my dad but if there's one thing we shared, it was our love for the arts. I had the dream of being the first person in my country to ever receive a YouTube play button. And then I did it. Follow your dreams and don't let anyone stop you or try to bring you down. I had so many people along the way tell me it was impossible or I wasn't good enough - but clearly none of that was true. I'm eternally grateful and I'm honestly shocked I haven't gone homeless in my 10-ish yrs of doing content full time. Before my dad died, I did show him my YouTube play button, and for the first time in my life he had told me he was proud of me. That ruins me to this day.
