(Or should I say, the actor who later gained fame playing WALL-E. It seems he has range. And doesn't he look young?!)
Look, most people are going to wear masks, just like most people were kind and careful throughout lockdown. So stop engaging with the 'no facemasks' gang. They don't mean it, they're showing off to their mates. Give your attention to quiet, empathetic, secure people.

There are no ‘girls toys’ & there are no ‘boys toys’. There are just toys.

Quite a depressing weekend for park professionals - we kept the Parks open because they are important for everyone’s physical and mental health, and general wellbeing. We didn’t expect any reward but the litter, fights and fires we experienced are far less than we deserved 🙁

I've just performed surgery on an elephant. It's not the neatest of scars but he sings again (so my 2yo will sleep again). I dare say @chesterzoo don't need my veterinary skills, but they do need the money so I am donating what I would have spent on a replacement to them

I found crochet as my go-to non-eventing hobby after trying many different things when I was struggling with post-natal blues 2 years ago. I am soooo glad. Amongst many completed little creatures, I made my first blanket over the last month and starting another tomorrow.

#Lockdown fun thanks to @corknet ... forfeit the game if you land it in a G&T, if it "pings" off a light then it is still in play even if it bounces back on your side #whatfun Even better with music nostalgia of uni days

I'm going to do my part in Catherine's deal; I'm lucky that my family are open about most things, but I'm going to make sure we have a real honest discussion about the details of #whatmatterstome : Advance care planning and why it matters now disq.us/t/3njglcc

Tried to teach gymnastics in #homeschool today ... I am shocked to discover I can no longer do "the bridge". When did that happen?! Did not dare attempt a cartwheel 😖
A beautiful dignified ending to what was no doubt a beautiful life. Having conversations with our loved ones about their wishes gives us the opportunity to celebrate these people with them, not just after them. Thank you Suzanne

These conversations are difficult but so important. It's not about saying people should not be looked after. It is about making sure we know how OUR loved ones want to be treated, so they get the very best FOR THEM, not for a generic person bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-5207…

All doctors / nurses are trained to make decisions in conjunction with the patient if they are able, or to ask the family if not... make sure you know what your loved one would say, and that they get the treatment they deserve.

For some it will be "give me everything you've got". For others it might be "I'm ready, I'd rather be at home with family than alone in hospital". Don't assume you know; ask. And you'll feel better connected regardless of what happens next
