I have seen some criticism of this gentleman, saying that he is out of shape and such. I have spent more than a decade encouraging young White men to hit the gym and train MMA, so I am fully on board with the need for White men to get more dangerous. That said, truth is that many (physically) powerful men (yes, big strong powerlifter, guys in the military, skilled fighters, and other supposed tough guys) are pussies when push comes to shove. Training is great and you should train. Courage, however, and the willingness to do the right thing in spite of the odds, is what matters. This French gentleman actually went back to work to help out his employees. He did not have to; he could just as well have stayed at home to weather out the storm. He made the decision to go back. For that, he has my respect. Also, that a cowardly hyena kicked him from behind does not reflect poorly on him. He got straight back up and resumed his defence of the shop. No honour lost there on his part. In conclusion, yes, we need to be physically formidable, but what we need even more is courage and the willingness to stand tall in the face of adversity.
