There's no better way to ring in the new year than by listening to Guy Lombardo play "Auld Lang Syne" at the stroke of midnight. Enjoy an evening of big band music tonight on Swing Street Radio! swingstreetradio.org/

Ten years today since my mother died. What I wouldn't give to change another wound packing or empty another bedpan or "barf bucket" if it meant having her here for one more hug. I miss her terribly, but she suffered so badly that it'd be selfish & cruel of me to wish her back. 💔

Been going through boxes of stuff I didn't have time to sort at the last apartment. Found lots of my parents' "diaries" (mostly planners & calendars) & am now transcribing them, along w/ my own, into yearly text files for daily comparison. Reliving both painful & good memories.🫤
