I contend that wealth acquired through alleged wrongdoing does not confer credibility or reputation.
My valuation of that reputation? ₹0.

Bureaucracy was always like that. India is a dictatorship of bureaucracy and judiciary, thanks to "basic-structure" provisions of Constitution which protect these classes. Unless that is changed, nothing will happen.
Bureaucrats have lost all fear of law and accountability and like politicians, are literally looting the country at will. No other way to put this.
As per Dainik Bhaskar, Rajasthan IAS officer Shikhar Agarwal, his wife, IPS officer Prashakha Mathur, their two daughters and their in-laws collectively purchased 40 villas and cottages in Ananta Resort in Bujhda, Udaipur, and a resort in Ajabgarh, Alwar, through Goyal Fashions Private Limited, at a reported cost of Rs 6.15 crore. The properties were subsequently leased to the same company for an annual lease amount of Rs 1.80 crore, according to the report.
The newspaper further reported that the family purchased 28 villas and cottages in Bujhda and Ajabgarh in the names of Shikhar Agarwal and Prashakha Mathur's family members, while only 14 properties were reflected in their annual immovable property returns (IPRs). The report states that the transactions involved the officer, his wife, their two daughters and four properties purchased by his in-laws.

🚨 CHINA'S AI BUBBLE HAS BURST, WIPING OUT ¥3.2 TRILLION IN JUST FOUR MONTHS.
According to Reuters, China's AI-heavy STAR50 index has crashed 40% since July.
And individual stocks have suffered even bigger losses.
• Unitree Robotics: -50%
• Moore Threads and MetaX: Nearly -50%
• Major optical component makers: Around -60%
But the crash could get much worse.
Even after these massive losses, the STAR50 still trades at nearly 100 times earnings, compared with just 30 times for the Nasdaq 100.
AI stocks also account for 42% of China's stock market value and 57% of trading activity.
Meanwhile, Wall Street is facing similar concerns about massive AI spending and expensive valuations.
China's AI-heavy index is already down 40%, while the Nasdaq has fallen only 6% from its recent peak.
If the AI selloff spreads to Wall Street, hundreds of billions more could be at risk.

I have a serious question for Indians.
Let’s say I’m visiting your home, and you serve me curry for dinner.
The next day, I come back, and there’s curry again.
And the day after that… curry again.
As a Japanese person, I might think, “Wow, you must REALLY love curry!”
But what if I asked, “Don’t you ever get tired of eating it every day?”
Would you think, “Are you kidding? I could eat this for the rest of my life!”
Or would you secretly be thinking, “Who said we eat curry every single day?”
Because in Japan, many people associate Indian food with curry, but I know Indian cuisine is much more diverse than that.
So I genuinely want to know:
Do you actually eat curry almost every day, or is that just a stereotype foreigners have? 🇮🇳🍛

Saw the Qawwali being played on the auspicious occasion of Seeta Vivah, composed by A R Rehman and written by Kumar Vishwas.

Election Commission of India files counter affidavit in Supreme Court on plea against CEC's functioning; says petition built entirely on a single news report
What ECI says:
Affidavit approved unanimously by all three members: the CEC and both Election Commissioners
All three SIR orders (June 2025, October 2025, May 2026) were unanimous decisions of the Commission
Notes, queries or suggestions by the CEC or ECs while a file moves are not decisions of the Commission
Files go to one EC, then the other EC, then the CEC. In urgent cases, approval is taken electronically and recorded on file later
Any officer issuing orders beyond delegated powers will face action
July 28 work allocation order was issued by an Additional Secretary on deputation. Both ECs wrote to the Cabinet Secretary the next day. The order was never implemented after the ECs' joint direction of July 30

No international student gets grants like HECS or welfare like Centrelink. Even permanent residents don't get dole for two years.
On top of that students have to pay 30% more fees than local students, that too upfront.
