Hello, Kaspians! 🏁💚 Today we tested the new ECU tune on the Kaspa Rally Car, and the difference I felt was huge: much more low-end torque and a much sharper response! Before, the engine only seemed to wake up at high revs. Now it pulls from low revs all the way to the limiter. When left-foot braking, as soon as I release the brake, the car pulls straight away. We’re still fine-tuning everything, but today’s testing definitely put a big smile on my face! 😁 Tomorrow there’s more work to do: adjust the hydraulic handbrake and realign the car, reviewing the rear camber and toe to make the rear end more predictable when it starts sliding. I didn’t push too hard today… this clutch has definitely seen better days 😅 If we manage to complete the StagHunt, it’s going to be a real race against time: remove the gearbox for an overhaul, replace the clutch while it’s out, and strip down the differential to switch to a 4.44 final drive. Even with the 3.91, the gearing still feels too tall for what we need. Every test shows us what has improved and what still needs work. We’re getting closer, and none of this would have been possible without you. A little behind-the-scenes update too: I sent ChatGPT my ECU BIN file, and it helped transfer our previous tuning changes to the newer firmware without having to redo everything manually. That saved me a lot of work! 💻🔧 The next step is checking everything on the car and seeing how it behaves. 🏎💚

A small tribute to people who deserve much more. My way of recognising the work they’ve put into Kaspa giving them a little place on the car and taking part of their story with us onto the rally stages. 🏁💚

The car started with an idea. From there, that idea became reality: the community embraced it wholeheartedly, I built the car, and Chad and Josh @rhubarbmedia created its visual identity. This car is like a book every detail tells part of the story. After speaking with Chad, I asked him to create line-art illustrations of the people who have contributed, and continue to contribute, to Kaspa. I turned those drawings into vinyl decals, printed them, and the rest is history. A few are still missing, and some contributors don’t have an available photo yet. We’re asking Kaspians not to identify them. They already have more than enough work to do and don’t need any distractions. I personally sent them a message to wish them a warm welcome aboard. I’m sure I’ll be asked plenty of questions about what Kaspa is. This makes it much easier to explain who the founders are and who contributed to each stage of Kaspa’s development. And this is the result. 😎🏁
