Appearing in White Dwarf #517 (October 2025), this was easy to miss- but here’s why you shouldn’t: warhammerwordforge.com/p/whi… #BlackLibrary #Warhammer #WarhammerCommunity

Hey, it's been a while but I have a new story in the latest White Dwarf. It's grim and gritty if you are into that sort of thing.

Is this guy particularly tiny or is that a bigger-than-normal ork head?

Oh shit OK the 'Terminus' decree doesn't actually say kill the dude just sit his ass back down, good job I'm not grand master tbh

People laughing at the idea of the Grey Knights assassinating Emperor, when half the Astartes Legions couldn't get the job done - but that's the point right? The only dudes who stand half a chance are marines that can sneak teleport. Frontal assault is out, they are a scalpel

Imagine Grey Knights launching a surprise attack en mass - that might be the only force in the galaxy that could get the job done. Experts at facing psychic daemons of immeasurable power.

People really hate the idea of Grey Knights murdering the Emperor - yes, it would be very hard, maybe even impossible. No, they wouldn't stand a chance against all the emperor's defenders in a fair fight. Who else would stand any chance of doing it? It's a hail mary

Love the image of this dreadknight precisely striking some unlucky dude on his head five times and driving him into the ground like Wile E Coyote
