I spent the week with the @USA_ASPI team.
ASPI is highly regarded across 🇺🇸 & we had discussions with the Admin, Congress, Committees, GOP & Dems, industry & thinktanks on China & competition, defence & deterrence, trade & tech.
If in, or visiting, Washington DC, drop by ASPI!
Very privileged to join some esteemed thought leaders discussing AI, Data, and Cyber capabilities in the context of national security. Thanks for hosting @Kennedy_School

With Sophia Gaston @sophgaston heading ASPI in London, it is now an “AUKUS Think Tank”, with a presence in Australia, the US and the UK. The roundtable focused on US, UK and Australian foreign, defence and security policy interests. #AUKUS

Great to visit @ASPI_DC which in a short time has established itself as a highly effective convening body for visiting Australians to engage with senior US policy makers and thought leaders 🇦🇺🇺🇸
Thanks to @PeterDutton_MP & @SenPaterson for visiting @ASPI_DC last week and leading a roundtable with US government officials, industry leaders & think tank partners that explored economic security, critical tech, strategic competition and the importance of 🇺🇸 🤝 🇦🇺 alliance.

Really important conversation to have at #SXSW. Threats to democracy know no border, and the rise of transnational repression should concern us all. Great to see @HRF & @ASPI_org driving this charge to new audiences here at South By.
ASPI's @DariImpio was thrilled to take part in 'Documenting Conflict Zones: Photojournalists vs. Influencers', a panel discussion hosted by @HRF at #SXSW!
The conversation explored state-backed content pushed by authoritarian regimes via online influencers, misinformation and disinformation, and more.

Successful Day 2 of ASPI events at @sxsw!
Our @munro_bronte & @dir_aspi_dc led a panel on Doing Business in the National Security Domain.
Topics discussed: tech industry as the new defense industrial base, AUKUS and skilled workforce development and investment in dual use tech.

Thanks for having me, @ASPI_DC, and for convening an interesting group for this discussion.
ASPI's Washington DC team was delighted to take part in a conversation with @AmboRudd at @sxsw in Austin.
The conversation focused on mobilising private sector capital for AUKUS and national security more broadly.
Thank you to former US Ambassador John Berry and the @_aaausa team for hosting @ASPI_DC at Australia House!
Happy 123rd Birthday Australian Army (and the Navy too). Another fine evening at the Australian Embassy in DC.
