Our Gary has just returned from his latest holiday in Barcelona. Gary said he had such a great time, doing loads of amazing things such as visiting some dolphins and going quad biking. Thanks to Jade for sending over Gary's pictures.

Our BRC team of service users and staff had a fantastic day last Friday during their annual Macmillan coffee afternoon event. The team have raised £475.57 for Macmillan. A great achievement. Thanks to everybody who attended.

John celebrated his birthday last week. He had a great time, got some lovely presents and went shopping. He also enjoyed a delicious cake. Thanks to Ngozi for sending over the photos. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN!

Robert and Pauline had a day out at the cinema over the weekend. Both enjoyed Odeon Switch Island where they watched the new film 'Spa Weekend' whilst enjoying a nice bucket of popcorn.

Thursday 10th September 2026 is World Suicide Awareness Day and the theme is 'changing the narrative'. The creative challenge is for YOU to create something that can be displayed at the BRC on the day. For more info- please speak to the BRC team.

John went on a day out to Southport this week. He went to the fair and went on all the rides, including the big ones. His favourite was The Ghost Train, so good he had to go on it twice! John then enjoyed a lovely pub meal & a pint, he can't wait to go again!

Gary arranged a helicopter ride with support from our Darrel Drive team and took to the sky from Formby all the way over the top of Blackpool Tower! Gary said he really enjoyed his experience and the views. His next target is to take to the sky again in a hot air balloon!!

Congratulations to Expect Fundraiser Mike who successfully completed his London-Paris bike ride in aid of Expect. Mike raised over £800. Thank you Mike.

Clare had a fantastic day out at Chester Zoo recently. Nice one Clare, glad you enjoyed it.

Our Bowersdale Resource Day Centre (BRC) ready to party last Friday!

A massive thank you to @Utilize_PLC for their generous donation of laptops to us at Expect Limited. The computers will be going directly to our service users, to help them become more digitally included.

Gary loves to travel and explore the world. Recently Gary visited Spain and right now, Gary is in Egypt, seeing the pyramids and riding on a camel! Gary wanted to say thank you to his support staff team and especially to Karla for helping his confidence and independence grow.

The BRC team where recently presented with a plaque award from The National Garden Scheme in recognition of their fantastic efforts made to their garden over the last couple of years. A big thank you to Marian and Brian for visiting and for your support, hints and tips!
