I am writing this without consulting my lawyer because it is the right thing to do, regardless of the legal implications. In early August, I made a terrible mistake by claiming that Byron Donalds and Cory Mills were under federal investigation. I received this information from someone I trusted, but I accept the DOJโs public statement that neither man is under investigation, which means that I bore false witness.
As a Catholic, I take the Ten Commandments seriously. After speaking with my priest and going to confession, I have a moral obligation to publicly retract my statement and apologize.
I apologize to Byron, Cory, and their families for what I said.
To be clear, neither man nor their lawyers asked me to write this, and neither has ever contacted me about it.
I sinned against my fellow man, and I am sorry. I ask God for forgiveness and pray that I can make amends.

Candace Owens claims Charlie Kirk was her best friend.
She calls him her brother.
Yet for some reason Charlie wasnโt invited inside for her wedding.
He had to sit outside and watch it on a projector screen.
This shouldnโt surprise me one bit considering the fact that Candace wasnโt even at Charlieโs wedding.
I know that Candace has been dramatically exaggerating about her relationship with Charlie but I didnโt know it was so bad that he didnโt even have a seat inside for her wedding day.

I also noticed that Erika Kirk was given multiple opportunities during this interview to say her piece about Candace or to dive further into the drama she has created but Erika chose not to feed too much energy into that.
Meanwhile Candace on the other hand has devoted every ounce of her energy to talking about Erika Kirk constantly for the past year and some change.
