My brain tunes out when I see the word "moat."

You can keep the computer. You just have to cancel your credit card.

What does "first line of the answer" mean?

We are all nearly seven years older. I wish that wasn't it.

That actually explains it

I started winning this when I started using the word "money" over and over.

This is easy. If there's a market for homes where guests clean more and if it really saves people money, a competitor will appear and people can rent their homes there.

It doesn't make the music any better.

There's no award for always being right. Trust me, I know.
We launched an employee recognition platform where coworkers can award points for going above and beyond. Naturally, IT is getting destroyed. When the network works for 200 consecutive days, nobody says anything. When somebody's laptop dies and we fix it, they give us 50 points. Our senior network engineer has received zero points this quarter. Meanwhile, Brandon from Desktop Support has 2,400. I investigated. Brandon has been manually delivering replacement keyboard batteries to people's desks. He refuses to leave spare batteries in the supply cabinet. Says it "removes the human element from IT support." Every delivery earns him 50 points and a public thank-you. He's currently ranked #1 in the company. Last Friday the CEO recognized him at the all-hands for "consistently exceeding expectations." Brandon got a $1,000 bonus. My network engineer asked whether preventing problems counts as going above and beyond. HR said employees have to nominate him. Nobody knows his name because nothing he manages has ever broken. Brandon is now being considered for a leadership position. I ordered 500 dead batteries. Time to get promoted.

It doesn't matter what they did. Anything or anyone can be overrated if you overrated them, as is the case with the Beatles.

Yes, because I am a junior developer. The answer is never say never.

"The Beatles invented music and did everything first. All other bands are shadows, and the Beatles are the sun. And everyone who disagrees is stupid." I don't care what they did. They had a few good songs and some pretentious garbage.

We forget what "overrated" means. It doesn't mean they were bad, or didn't possibly accomplish those things. "Overrated" means the pedestal they're placed on is too high.

That was a one-way door. Doctor Who hasn't been good since the 80s. It was bad then, but it was a different time and that sort of bad was good.

I love their music but I avoid watching performances. It ruins it for me. I did not to see that GIF.

The most recent Bond films, including Skyfall, were all about people being sad. (Except No Time To Die - no one knows what that was about.) We're meant to appreciate how deep they are because of everyone's profound inner pain. It gets old fast.

"Heavily influenced by the Beatles" is hard to nail down. It gives them way too much credit. We would not be in some musical dark ages if not for them. Every successful band playing at that time had some influence.

It's entirely subjective, including "serious." I don't even know what my top 10 are, but nothing by the Beatles would make that list.
