🌟 We are overjoyed to share that Joan has successfully undergone surgery to remove a large tumour!
The growth, known as maxilla-ossifying fibroma, had grown so significantly over 3 years it was starting to cover her eye but now she can see clearly & is looking forward to returning to school!
A massive thank you to Dr. Adrian Kamulegeya, Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon, for his expert care & to everyone who took part in our @ExtremeEnergyUK Santa Challenge to fund this operation.
Your donations covered all the costs of Joan's treatment, from surgery to transportation & post-op care! 🏥🚑🩺
