Cube game on GameCube is now released as indev v0.1! This release includes a new texture pack (shoutout to Pixel Brush!), and there's also support for switching textures, so if you want to use Minecraft assets, you can. You'll just need to bring your own copy. This is indev v0.1 (Nov 2024), a snapshot of the project at that stage. I'm currently working on re-porting the latest 2026 build to the GameCube, which includes improvements not seen here.

Announcing PicoLoader, an ODE-based modchip for the GameCube! Similar to PicoBoot but easier to install, no soldering directly to the GC and other improvements. Only requires a Raspberry Pi Pico, a flex PCB and a Diode. And it's open-source: github.com/makeo/PicoLoader

I'm surprised why no one openly criticizes Pluto mod. It's dumb. It irreversibly removes Digital Port from the console. There are external adapters with the same firmware (GCVideo) with no difference in quality.

GAMECUBE RANT FOLLOW-UP: I have some suggestions on how to improve this GC Pluto flex cable design so that 1) It's reliable and 2) The Gamecube can be serviced in the future as it will inevitably need to be. TLDR - I don't like the Pluto as it doesn't make sense in 2023.

Hey @RetroRGB, you might want to add this to the hall of shame products/a head's up. The Armor 3/Hyperkin Nuview. Not only I can't update to v3.1, but they have removed firmware updating altogether, hex edited a fake version number in & took Korb's name out. Returning this asap.
