What’s interesting about the feedback on this post is that it feels like iPhone Duo buyers assume TouchID will operate like it did back in the day. But some people who have the Duo now seem to be having trouble with its TouchID. Thoughts?

Yes, apps are still being optimized for the iPhone Duo’s dual screens, but the pace is faster than anything I’ve seen on Android, even after seven years of foldables. Every time I update my Duo apps, more are optimized for both screens. I’ve said it from day one: app support is what will ultimately set the Duo apart.

iPhone Duo app optimization at this point shouldn’t be a huge deal. Phone’s not even out yet lol

I spent a lot of time annoying and asking devs about when their Duo updates would hit and most said they are targeting getting them up by Friday and more tweaks as they get units in. This is probably why I’m far less concerned about apps for customers actually buying them

The amount of brand new/heavily updated iPhone Duo apps popping up early on is gonna be insane. Devs are having fun from the looks of it. App quality was always a strength iOS had, but as far as foldables are concerned, the apps are gonna be such a major competitive edge.
