I spent years of my life trying to become the woman that the Christian books told me I was supposed to be. Then I realized God only expected me to be who I was created to be. No one can tell me who I am bc only God & myself knows. I spent years finding that woman, & loving her.1/
So when people’s expectations of me don’t match what I know God has called me to, I no longer feel a pang of guilt, or like I’m not a “godly woman”… because there’s no one way to be a woman. There’s no formula. I’m free. & so are you. 2/

Wanna hear a secret? The Bible doesn’t ever say that modesty has anything to do with how much skin a person is showing. The modesty mentioned in scripture pertains to flaunting one’s wealth. Don’t believe me? Go look it up and read the passage again.

In my family, women cook the food, set the tables, do all the clean up, entertain the children, & are the emotional support for the whole family. This is accurate for many.
Men, I challenge you to relieve the burden on the women in your family. Anyone can google a recipe.
It's black friday but we're not selling anything so just be safe out there and don't blow all your money on crap for people who you don't even like. 😜 That's my wisdom of the day. 🤣
I’m a strong empowered feminist woman. But I will go to great lengths to ensure that my partner happens to ride in my car when I’m close to an empty tank so he’ll volunteer to pump my gas.

I normally make it a practice never to comment on posts I disagree with. But every now and then one will so deeply bother me, and this is one of them. So yes, I broke my own rule and commented. I’ll probably regret that when the notifications start rolling in but oh well.
