Today is a mathematical date we won't see again for 78 years.
10/24/26
10² + 24² = 26²
It's called a Pythagorean Triple Day. There are infinitely many Pythagorean triples, but only 12 dates this century satisfy the equation.Today is the last.
Next one: March 4, 2105.

I am reminded today why I hate contests so much. I'm not in it to win it, I just want some cool countries to add to the log, but people out there in pileups have no class and are rude. #hamradio

Here is my final from my activity in Guadeloupe. Even though I’m still here for a bit longer, I no longer have a radio station set up. Thank you for all 122,623 QSOs on 13 bands, and see you soon from other locations where you'll always have the chance to hunt me! Stay tuned!

Today I made 15 contacts in CW during my #ParksOnTheAir 🏕️ activation. I'm really sorry for the mistakes but fortunately the hunters are very comprehensive 😊 #hamradio POTA ON 👍

Part 6 of the QMX build series is up ... winding the two black toroids for
L401, the 60–15m version.
I used about 45cm of wire. Gave me a bit more room on the first black core....

AN OPEN CALL
Antarctica is the last continent missing from the Register.
This week the summer season opens, planes landing at McMurdo, ships leaving Ushuaia and thousands of people are heading for the ice.
Somewhere among them is a left-hander.
If that is you, or someone you know: the door is open at joinwiddershins.com.
One unclaimed seat remains.
The frozen one.
Against the sun. The other way round.

I'm stoked that my love for #hamradio has been reignited after an extremely busy summer that left no room for it. I really can't wait to dive back into it. This weekend is what I needed.
