Thank you to everyone who's bought #1996book over the last 24 hours ahead of full launch tomorrow. Very pleasing. It really is another triumph of candour and hope from @TonyAdams. No 1 bestseller in some football categories and Hot New Release, no less.

🚨 IMPORTANT REMINDER 🎗️
🟨 If you see a referee wearing a yellow armband, this indicates they are an Under-18 match official.
🫡 They are therefore covered by safeguarding children legislation and just like the youth players on the pitch they are still learning and developing within the game and deserve our full support, encouragement and respect!
🙌 Help us to create a safe and positive environment on the football pitches across Sussex so these young referees stay passionate and dedicated to the game for years to come…

Love this book. It was the first I published by a new author for @FDpublishing because it had a wonderful story at heart, full of joy but with the dark side of Brazilian football and society evident. @sethburkett has gone on to a brilliant writing career. So pleased for him.
𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐂𝐊 | THE BOY IN BRAZIL by @sethburkett
🇧🇷 A charming, insightful account of a magical season in the sun as an 18-year-old playing for Sorriso in Brazil's lower leagues and a bittersweet look at the beautiful game as a whole

.@JanePurdon has been a brilliant addition to our small but perfectly formed team at @FDpublishing. This is a lovely little read on learning about the industry. And Jane has learned very quickly.
Over recent weeks we've set out who we are at Floodlit Dreams and what makes us tick. Now the newest member of our team, @JanePurdon, shares learnings from her first 6 months with us. Of interest to all writers and all who work in this industry.

I've worked with @sethburkett at @FDpublishing for more than a decade now. It's been a delight seeing him become a successful writer and publisher. He's written about his process, and it's well worth a read.
Floodlit Dreams’ very own Seth Burkett writes about his life as a writer and publisher: the people who’ve helped him and how he wants to play it forward and help others into this business.

What a great night. Thanks to Sarah and the brilliant @WaterstonesLPL team. And of course to the legend that is @frankcottrell_b who guided me through the event. It was good to be home.
A packed house for @MulvilleJimmy discussing his love letter to #Everton - There’s Gonna Be A Show with (lifelong Red) @frankcottrell_b. A gorgeous chat about the importance of football & how woven it is through the lives of Jimmy & his family over the years ⚽️ 💙
