Some very wealthy people are arguing it’s unfair to close inheritance tax loopholes because they bought farmland specifically to avoid inheritance tax. What’s odd is that they’re making that case *out-loud*. And seem to think it’s an argument that will provoke sympathy.

I’ve seen enough from INEOS to see that they want to operate correctly and undo 15 years of over paying and have the piss taken out of them. If it requires some short term pain for long term gain then fair enough.
