Did you know when a Saint’s day falls during the Easter fortnight it’s moved. So according to the Church of England technically St. George’s Day should be next Monday (and St. Mark’s Day next Tuesday). Whether celebrating today or Monday we wish you a Happy St. George’s Day 🌹

Did you know plimsolls were named after a ship’s hull? The plimsoll line on a ship’s hull is a load line. MP Samuel Plimsoll who rallied for regulations in the shipping industry inspired the name on vessels. But it’s the distinctive line on ships that inspired the footwear name.
