It was a huge honor to participate in this program. And the issue is a huge one -- will the Supreme Court grab enormous new power for itself at the expense of more accountable parts of the government?
.@FPBland, Executive Director of @Public_Justice, speaks to the dangers of overturning Chevron and letting individual judges make policy decisions instead of experts at federal regulatory agencies.

If Trump becomes president again, after all we know ,and you supported his campaign you will have participated in the end of American democracy. You will not be rewarded by your leader beyond a rush you might seek for upending civility. You aren't part of his plan. He is the entirety of his plan and the future will belong to him. Not you. You won't get a thank you or a knowing nod. He will allow you to buy trinkets with his image and name emblazoned. Trump is a despicable example of human kind. Devoid of compassion. Devoid of any respect for knowledge and education. Trump is the fully realized Id. He will have no guardians , no guard rails and no shame. He cannot tell the difference between what he is and what he wants. There is none when you analyze the situation. He flunks Descarte's building block syllogism automatically. He can't think so no therefore. Ego driven rage and revenge. If you're inclined to assist him please rethink your reasons. #Trump – at Erlanger, KY

Antisemitism isn’t simply a form of prejudice. It’s also a conspiracy theory intended to undermine trust in our democracy. Unsurprisingly, @maddow nails it here ⬇️⬇️
Rachel @maddow explains how her research into American antisemitism informs her understanding of the rise of hate in recent times.

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing, Rep. Mike Johnson attacks Roe v. Wade, insisting that if only women were compelled to bring more "able-bodied workers" into the world, Republicans wouldn’t need to slash Social Security and Medicare.

I asked the Mike Johnson if he stands by his efforts to try to overturn the 2020 election. Members started boo'ing. I also asked if he would support more aid to Ukraine and Irael. "Go away! Go away!" one member shouted. "We’re not doing any policy tonight," Johnson said.

Tonight we light City Hall in recognition of the steadfast support from President Joe Biden and the entire United States following the horrific attack on our country. To my friends in the US and all over the world: we will always remember who stood by us during our darkest hour.

So, Russia just launched a missile attack on a grocery store & cafe in Ukraine, killing at least 49 people. Meanwhile Republicans pulled funding & resources from Ukraine & are now more focused on evicting Democrats from their office than helping Ukraine. Shame on Republicans.

.@GregAbbott_TX says that he's looking at building "border barriers" between Texas and New Mexico. Yes, you read that right. The fact that New Mexico is a safe harbor state for Texans desperate for reproductive health care makes Abbott's statement even more chilling. #TXGov

We stopped MAGA Republicans from shutting down the government and saved aid to WIC, Head Start & SNAP. We didn’t let Trump and Putin’s little helpers “burn it all down,” as feared, but they did momentarily block aid to Ukraine. We’ll deal with that next week.

This was a huge and very important case. The university was trying to avoid accountability in a very unfair way. The en banc panel decision fixes the law in this area
“[Yesterday’s] opinion is a victory for Mackenzie and for student survivors across the country [...] Gender violence has grave effects on students’ access to education. For that reason, the civil rights law #TitleIX requires schools to address known abuse [...]"

This, 100% Trump actively worked to gut the NLRB, so that it would be easier for corporations to break unions and cheat. If you look at the actual substantive policies, Trump was objectively TERRIBLE for unions.
I know this might sound crazy but one important thing to consider when evaluating Trump and Biden on unions is to actually look at the policy positions they have supported and implemented as president
