@LetsGo_Zero #ClimateActionCountdown Today our nature group got to identify all the plants in our plant picnic! Many were surprised to discover radishes in the party rings! We can’t imagine a world without plants 🌱!!!

What a fantastic event The Science Extravaganza was- thank you so much for organising @rochdale_c It was a complete joy to collaborate with @Touchstones to share our urban nature project as well as to showcase activities celebrating biodiversity- we can’t wait for the next one!

If you’re free before 3pm today why not pop down to @RochdaleLibrary OneRiverside to check out the #EarthDay2024 activities on offer- we also have some awesome animals that our students have created in their own time from up-cycled materials 👍👍

I would encourage families to visit this at Rochdale central library tomorrow- rock-pools are great & @AqualeaseUK are incredible 👍👍

@Official_FPHS Incredibly proud of our @EarthEcho team leaders today as they were being filmed by an awesome film crew- one of which has flown in from Hawaii!! What an opportunity to showcase the magnificence of moss- we cannot wait to see the final film! #MossIsAwesome

We were delighted to welcome families to our first Family Workshop on Thurs 14th March. The workshop was hosted by our amazing Nature Club team who shared how to use apps to ID wildlife, how to create birdfeeders and provided an opportunity to have a go at nature journaling

Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary

@UKPolarNetwork @fiona_616 Our school community cannot thank @milo_bischof enough for taking our flags to Antarctica!!! How lucky are we to have a tiny part of our Rochdale community travelling such a huge distance to bring about awareness of the research in polar regions!! ❤️🎉

Apologies but tonight’s Big Garden Birdwatch Family Workshop has been cancelled due to icy conditions. We hope to rearrange the workshop for science week in March. Thanks for your understanding!

Our nature group is in solidarity with @michaelastracha and the @BBCSpringwatch team in setting up the apple tree! We are getting ready to make apple bird feeders at our family workshop tomorrow night 👍👍
