MUFC window rating Incomings Cunha - £62.5m Mbeumo - £65m + £6m Sesko - £66.3 + £7.4m Lammens - £18.1m + £3.5m Leon (January signing) - £3.3m + £3.7m These additions are good additions overall but my main issues are - the time spent to do them - not addressing other key needs We NEEDED 1 CM (maybe 2), a starting GK, and a LWB/LW for me. I would’ve liked a backup striker (Boniface and RKM were right there). I would’ve also really liked to see a signing of a CCB / cdm profile to help with both roles for a bit more tactical fluidity at times (and an extra body for squad planning if going to a 4 atb) Lammens I do really like and have talked about for a while, I think he has MASSIVE potential as a keeper but MUFC fans need to give him time and he has to be resilient in case of mistakes. We are tough on our keepers historically but Lammens can be a solid one along with Vitek from our academy. Price wise it’s not a bad deal either. Because of not signing the positions I think were needed and spending 40+ days on Mbeumo while not progressing other deals during that time, and not having Mbeumo / Sesko / Lammens during critical preparation time I have to dock it multiple points. Slightly overpaid compared to early window estimates and spending over £200m is a big outlay to still have big concerns in the squad. But we added to a major need in goals and quality attackers along with the start of planning a life without Bruno’s attacking output and that’s definitely important. 6/10
