I upgraded a full round of hardware in the D&D room buildout for our gaming social club, and I managed to salvage the old projectors for use in our karaoke and Clone Hero rooms. It was a good day.

Back on my build-out bullshit. This time, a Mos Eisley Cantina-esque TTRPG VTT room. Think backwater bar turned into impromptu imperial base of operations. I've carved foam panels to not mar the century-old walls in the bank we renovated and turned into a gaming social club.

Making greebles for the room. Some of these have structural purpose (Holding foam, helping keep it rounded/bent via some PVC framework. Having a bit of frosted plexi put in them for lighted slits.) Most are decorative. Dice holder and tray in the front.

A lot of this requires more precise measurements. I opted for Tinkercad. It's fine for the limited shapes I need, and it kinda keeps me to a '70s kit-bashed aesthetic. It works, and free is nice. We're using up all our orphaned filament colors--these all need paint anyhow.

It’s arrived! HEROQUEST: JUNGLES OF DELTHRAK looks to be a 10/10 banger from the awesome folks at @AvalonHill. I was so unbelievably lucky to have had a chance to work on this and had a great experience doing so. Great game, fantastic team, amazing art - pure 💯!

You know the Trump thing that happened? Same town we opened our gaming social club in. It was a few miles down the road. I don't have any proximity based insights other than: traffic is worse, and there are a lot of news outlet trucks dotting the sides of the road now.
