Our latest podcast is out now. This week, we’re covering the history of football in Fall River, one of the early fanatic football towns in the United States. Like other American towns, the growth of football in Fall River was driven by industry and the migrating workers who came with it.

New Podcast: Football in Fall River We're joined by professor Tom McCabe and film producer Kirk Rudell Rudell to talk about football in Fall River, one of footballs early hotbeds on the east coast of the United States. As is often the case with early football development in the United States, migration and industry helped shape the landscape of football in Fall River and other industrial heartlands across the US. Did You Know .. former Marksmen Tewik Abdullah was to be at the 1930 World Cup as a member of the Egyptian National Team ? However a fierce storm across the Mediterranean Sea prevented Twefik and his Egyptian teammates from making the voyage (ship) to South America. #FRMFC
